Admissions
The Grove Preschool at Kol Shofar is now accepting applications for the 2026/27 School Year, and we look forward to getting to know your family in the process.
Children are eligible for admission at the age of 18 months. The admission process begins with an application and then a tour of the school. We offer preschool tours each year from October to February, and then begin enrolling families in March for an August start. If the preschool has additional spaces available, we will continue offering tours through the spring and summer. Children are enrolled depending on availability in the most developmentally appropriate class. Children are placed on an interest list if there is no availability in the most appropriate class. We enroll children mid-year if space permits, otherwise all children will enroll at the start of the school year, in August.
Kol Shofar members and siblings always have priority enrollment.
Not a member yet? We’d still love to meet you. Start by scheduling a tour, and we’ll talk through options together.

"The outdoor playspace of the Kol Shofar campus is a true highlight for our child."
- Parent of 3 year old
"As a parent, I can't say enough wonderful things about The Grove Preschool at Kol Shofar. We want our kids to play freely, learn by following their curiosity, explore nature, and feel connected to Judaism and our cultural traditions. I've never heard of another school that ties together all of these very different aims with such care and love. When you choose to send your kid to the Grove, you are choosing an environment that educates children AND embraces their families. The school is a powerful force for community building, and the kids are fully supported in every sense of the word."
